Today the My Digital Studio software finally became available to Stampin' Up! customers. I have to admit I've been a little slow trying it out. This is my first 8" x 8" scrapbook page. Of course, you can't go wrong when you have such an adorable granddaughter!
First I added a bottom border found under Torn Edges in the MDS stamp sets and chose Bermuda Bay for the color. Then I added a texture to the paper using the Texture stamp. I inserted the photos and added a Bermuda Bay mat to each. The Bermuda Bay and So Saffron grosgraine ribbon and bow are in the Embellishment collection. The butterfly is from the For All You Do stamp set using So Saffron. All of the page elements have a Drop Shadow set at about 55% with a soft blur. I wanted to darken the edges a little, so I opened the page in PhotoShop Elements and "burned" the edges.
Trust me, it's not nearly as complicated as it may sound. This software is incredibly easy to use. If you don't want to create your own pages, there are many pre-made pages you can use, even whole scrapbooks! When you're done, you can either print your scrapbook at home, or have it printed at the Stampin' Up! print facility and delivered to your door.
You can find a video introduction to My Digital Studio here: My Digital Studio Introduction. While you're at my Stampin' Up! website, check out the Special Promotions this month.
Also, be sure to check out the new Stampin' Up! Clearance Rack.
I'll be back tomorrow with another page featuring my other adorable granddaughter!
Thanks for stopping by.
