I love when I can combine two challenges in one. The inspiration for this layout is the Mojo Monday 107 challenge found here: Mojo Madness 107, and the embossed aluminum foil is the Technique Lovers Challenge found here: TLC 240: Foil Embossing.
I'm not getting much blogging done today because my four-year-old granddaughter is visiting.
Please check back later for a tutorial (after the Vikings game).
I'm back! How about those Vikings? I take back everything I ever said about Brett Favre! Lol
Okay, enough of that, here is the tutorial I promised.
Here are the supplies I used: Stamp set: Lots of Bots, Pg. 82, #115293

Cut cardstock (any color) 1-3/4” x 2-1/4”. To attach the foil to the cardstock, you could cut the cardstock to size and wrap the foil over the front a tape in back. I cut cardstock larger than I needed, ran it through the Xyron and attached the foil before cutting it to size.
Place the foil covered CS face down on the Texturz plate and emboss.
Cut the remaining pieces as follows:
Brushed Silver CS: One each 3-3/4” x 5-1/8”, ½” x 5-1/4” and 3/8” x 1-1/4”. Use Circle Scissors to cut a 2” circle.
Basic Black CS: Two each 2” x 3-1/4”, one each 5-1/4” x 4”, ½” x 1-1/4” and ¾” x 5-1/4”. Use Circle Scissors to cut a 2-1/8” circle.
Whisper White CS: 8-1/2" x 5-1/2", scored at 4-1/4" to create card base.
Use Stamp-a-ma-jig to position computer code (?) on ½” x 5-1/4” Brushed Silver CS. Stamp with VersaMark and heat emboss with Silver Embossing Powder. You only have to stamp the ends because the center will be covered. Lightly ink the image with the Sponge Dauber.
Use Stamp-a-ma-jig to position the robot image on the 2” Brushed Silver circle. Stamp with VersaMark and heat emboss with Silver Embossing Powder. Fill in the image with the VersaMarker to make the image a little darker than the Brushed Silver CS.
Use Snail to attach the 3-3/4” x 5-1/8” Brushed Silver CS to the 5-1/4” x 4” Basic Black CS.
Use Snail to attach the foil-embossed pieces to the 2” x 3-3/4” Basic Black CS as shown. Use the Mat Pack and Paper-Piercing Tool to attach the Silver Brads. Attach to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Attach the ½” x 5-1/4” Brushed Silver strip to the ¾” x 5-1/4” Basic Black strip.
Use Stampin’ Dimensionals on the ends to attach to the card front.
Use Stamp-a-ma-jig to position the Happy Birthday, Human sentiment to the 3/8” x 1-1/4” Brushed Silver CS. Attach to the ½” x 1-14/” Basic Black CS with Snail. Use Mat Pack and needle to pierce holes in the Basic Black as shown. Attach this piece to a piece of 1-5/15" x 5/8" foil-embossed CS . Ink around the edges and attach to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Layer the Robot image on the Basic Black circle and attach to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I hope you enjoyed this project as much as I did!
